When I moved to the U.S. I didn’t take my yorkies Pepper and Chilli. I figured it would be better for them to stay with my mom – watch my mom and give her the love I’ve always felt with both of them. When Chilli died last year I was crushed and was sad for days. I saw Pepper again when I visited the Philippines for my brother’s wedding and as usual, she was pretty sweet and I’m glad she keeps my mom company.
We have two cats at home – Luca and Beanie, and I love them dearly. Luca is incredibly squishy and Beanie is such a beauty although extremely shy and skittish. They filled my heart with their cute little paws and I couldn’t have asked for more.
HOWEVER, we’ve been blessed by another furry baby. A kitten has casually strolled into our lives one day and she has officially been rescued and adopted. Meet Penelope or Penny for short. But really, we still call her Kitty.. and she’s adorable.
She’s clingy and follows me around the house. She waits on the top of the stairs when I’m sleeping in the bedroom.. if she isn’t trying to smother me.

We were initially worried that the boys may not like having hear around.. but as it turns out, she’s a lovely addition to our furry family and they play all day. Granted, Luca plays with her and Beanie just tries to run away.
I can’t stop cuddling her sometimes. She’s amazing.

I’m a crazy cat lady, it has been confirmed.
